Madison holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) and a Master of Domestic and Family Violence Practice (with Distinction).

Madison spent several years as a Court Child Expert with the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and has also worked providing education and counselling support to families post-separation.

Madison regularly attends professional development workshops, meetings, online webinars, and maintains current knowledge of research and changes within the Australian Family Law system.

Madison is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), Family Law Pathways Network (FLPN) and the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA). 

Madison has a holistic and practical approach to assessments and report writing. This approach ensures that the assessment process, written report, and recommendations are solution-focused and grounded in reality testing and practical suggestions and considerations, both currently and into the future.

The assessment process, including interviews and observations, is conducted in a relaxed but professional manner to ensure parents/caregivers and children feel comfortable to share the successes and challenges of living in a separated family.

Areas of special interest include assessment of the impact of family violence on children, parents/caregivers, and co-parenting relationships, and relocation cases.
